Tour Plan
Day 1
Departure in the morning from Marrakec to reach the village of Mhamid, at the edge of the desert. Break in a village in the Atlas, visit to Ait Ben Haddou near Ouarzazate (a Ksar classified as a UNESCO heritage site). In the evening, night at a local's home in the village, or in a fixed bivouac, in complete comfort, in the heart of the palm grove.
Day 2
In the morning, hike in the Sahara desert and head for the M'hamid Palmeraie. Tea and lunch are taken in the shade of a tamarisk tree.
After a rest period, we leave for the Sidi Naji sanctuary, a place full of history and local custom. In the evening, the bivouac is set up at the foot of the sand dunes. Night in the desert under tent or under the stars.
Day 3
To the rhythm of the sun, the bivouac folds. Departure through the dunes then a vast dry lake to reach the magnificent dunes of Erg Zahar (known as "howling dunes"). Night in the Sahara desert in tents, or under the stars.
Day 4
Return to M'hamid then Marrakech to spend the night.
After breakfast, hike in 4X4 to head towards the fixed bivouac, through the magnificent landscapes of the Drâa Valley. Lunch at the fixed bivouac, then return to Marrakech.
